The Hoste achieves top 10 best country hotel in The Guardian 2018

The Hoste Hotel & Spa was included in a UK-wide list which featured the ‘best country hotels for wintery British breaks’ from Cornwall to Scotland.
The Guardian commented on the hotels 16th-century coaching inn and it’s 62 glamorous bedrooms where guests can choose to stay in one of six diverse properties all located throughout the village including; Vine House boutique hotel, Railway House hotel and The Hoste Luxury Holiday Cottages. In addition to the bedrooms, The Hoste also boasts two award-winning restaurants including the newly opened Burnham Market Brasserie and the fine dining Traditional Panelled Restaurant, 20-seat luxury cinema and Beauty Spa. As well as the facilities at The Hoste guests will enjoy the independent boutique shopping in Burnham Market, coastal walks and stunning scenery followed by a warming winter drink or a cosy catch-up by the roaring log fire. The Times ‘Cool Hotel’ Guide: 2017

Hotel expert and writer Tom Chesshyre reviews his stay at The Hoste Hotel & Spa in The Times Weekend ‘Cool Hotel’ Guide 2017.
This Norfolk institution has been revamped in the past few years by new owners who have introduced the spa, cinema and a gym — and spruced up the rooms. The Hoste is named after Captain Sir William Hoste, a local naval hero who was a prodigy of a more famous hero from the neighbouring village of Burnham Thorpe, Lord Nelson. Displays honouring Nelson, who often stayed in room 5, are at the back of this 62-room inn.

Top 25 best foodie destinations in the UK- The Times 2015

The Hoste hotel, restaurant and bar has been recognised in The Times top 25 best foodie destinations in the UK. Located in the centre of picturesque Burnham Market, just a couple of miles from the stunning North Norfolk coast, The Hoste was included in a UK-wide list featuring ‘foodie pubs with rooms’ stretching from Cornwall to Cumbria and Northern Ireland to Norfolk.
Focussing on the fresh seafood and local produce served throughout the historic bar and lively restaurants, The Times commented on The Hoste’s diversity, evolving from a traditional 17th century coaching inn into a comfortable hotel with rooms located in the original hotel, a Georgian townhouse and converted railway house.
