Under the direction of Head Chef Julian Falconer, the team of chefs have a dedication to style and quality which is applied to every element of the dining experience. Menus are changed frequently according to seasonal availability, taking advantage of the fantastic local Norfolk produce on offer such as Brancaster Oyster’s, Cromer crab and Simon Letzer’s smoked salmon.
Traditional Panelled Dining Room
Situated at the front of the hotel adjacent to the historic bar, the traditional wood panelled dining room restaurant dates back to the 17th-century and can seat up to 50 dinners. The fine dining restaurant menu offers modern British cuisine with a twist. Dishes include; dressed Cromer crab, fillet of locally reared Angus beef, line-caught seabass, and pan roasted fillet of halibut along with an impressive wine list including wines by the glass, champagnes and aperitifs.
The stunning décor of the traditional panelled dining room and luxury ambience deliver the perfect setting for a fine dining experience. The restaurant is very popular in the cooler months with its cosy nooks and twinkling candle light, it also includes the bay window seats with views over the village green which remain among the more popular tables in the hotel.
The Burnham Market Brasserie
The delightful brasserie overlooks the sheltered walled garden at the rear of the hotel and is the perfect spot for enjoying a long and relaxing lunch or catching up with friends over a chilled glass of wine. Stylish and contemporary, the menu has something for everyone, served all day and with an emphasis on great flavours, the Brasserie uses fresh, vibrant ingredients to create an innovative Modern British menu worthy of its reputation.
Dishes include, Brancaster mussels, dressed Cromer crab tian, The Hoste steak burger and 28 day, matured 8oz ribeye steak. Under the leadership of Head Chef, Julian Falconer, the brasserie will appeal to an array of palettes and provides new imaginative dishes using only the best local seasonal produce.
