The Hoste, recently named by The Guardian as one of the 10 best country hotels in the UK in 2018 on the North Norfolk coast has appointed Trevor Clark as Executive Head Chef. Trevor brings more than 15 years of culinary experience to his new role along with many prestigious achievements including, an AA Rosette award in 2018 and nominations for both Norfolk and Suffolk chef of the year in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Trevor trained at the Navy Cookery School and graduated to Head Chef at HMS Raleigh in 2007. He subsequently has worked for a number of East Anglian hotels and restaurants.
Trevor’s creative flair and passion for local produce will offer The Hoste guests a superb new dining experience. As Executive Head Chef, Trevor, will oversee The Hoste hotel’s two award-winning restaurants, traditional bar and lounges, as well as in-room dining and banqueting operations, ranging from intimate gatherings and weddings to corporate celebrations.
Trevor comments, “I am very much looking forward to working with North Norfolk’s most iconic hotel. The hotel is set in a truly unique location, with an outstanding array of local producers on its doorstep. I am really looking forward to developing my food philosophy within such an established hotel and cannot wait to get started”.
